Most of you know that we are in the Philippines at the moment. We have been here just over a week now. Sorry it&#8217;s taken us so long to post an update. It has been a very busy few months.<br><br>We wanted to share the news that The Margaret Adcock Foundation received charitable status two weeks ago, which is great news. <strong>The foundation is now in the process of opening a bank account and putting some formal policies in place. <\/strong><strong>Thank you to those who are asking where to transfer money, or wishing to donate. Once the account is open we will let you know!<\/strong>\u00a0Once again we wanted to express our gratitude for your continued support.<br><br>The last few months were challenging, even more so this month with Christmas approaching. Maggie loved Christmas, always wanting the lights and decorations up before the 1st of December, even though David would oppose it and say &#8220;it&#8217;s too early&#8221; (we never really listened). We would then sneak in our little trip to Firs Farm Nursery to choose her favourite big Fraser pine tree.<br><br>She always wanted to spend one Christmas in the Philippines. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our very first Christmas trip in 2020 due to Covid restrictions and regretfully we never had a chance to rearrange due to Maggie&#8217;s diagnosis.<br><br>We decided to come back to the Philippines this year to take her ashes and to spend Christmas with our family. Part of the trip was in order to start her foundation. On 25th December, The Foundation will help over 150 underprivileged children by providing school supplies, this was one of Maggie&#8217;s ideas. We know she will be so proud of this. Once again this wouldn&#8217;t be possible without all your help.
