“Go for Gold” walking challenge

WILL YOU WALK 30 MILES IN 30 DAYS?

This September, as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, join The Margaret Adcock Foundation as we Go for Gold to honour children who are going through tough treatment, and the children we have heart-breakingly lost—like our beautiful Maggie.

Maggie was just 17 when she was diagnosed with an aggressive childhood cancer. She was full of life, dreams, and laughter. She turned 18 with hope still burning brightly, but just four weeks later, she was gone.

Her story is tragically not unique. Every day in the UK, five families hear the words “your child has cancer”. Every week, five children die. Treatments are decades old, harsh, and often not enough. Our children deserve better.

The challenge is simple:

• Walk 30 miles in 30 days.
• Donate £1 for every mile, or more if you can!
• Share your journey:
  ✔ Wear gold
  ✔ Post golden sunsets, golden cakes, golden smiles
  ✔ Dedicate your walk to a child by tagging us & sharing their story
  ✔ Tag us with a photo when you’ve completed the challenge to be featured on our Foundation Wall of Gold
